				Doll Description: In 1906, a mother and her two children left their homeland of Austria, setting sail for a new land full of promise and a better future. “Rudy” was just a young boy when he landed at Ellis Island to begin a new, free life in America. Marie created and named Rudy after her husband’s grandfather, and in commemoration of all the immigrants who passed through Ellis Island. Original head, arms and legs by sculptor, Sonja Bryer. “Rudy” is hallmarked on the back of his neck with Marie’s signature and is hand numbered.No box.
